My Career
I started out designing printed booklets and sales sheets for Cisco and HP. Now I lead design and development for a global healthcare technology company — overseeing web properties, writing Astro and React, and coordinating across engineering, marketing, and DevOps.
I founded Iris Creative Co. in Portland, where I directed a small team of designers, a developer, and a project manager while running projects ranging from brand identity and email campaigns to full CMS-driven web builds. Running an agency taught me how to own a project end to end — client relationships, creative direction, technical delivery, all of it.
For the last four years at Reify Health, I've been the design and web lead across a global portfolio of properties. The biggest thing I've driven: architecting and leading the company-wide rollout of a new tech stack — Sanity CMS, custom front-end — across 5-6 properties in North America, South America, and Europe. I coordinated designers, engineers, DevOps, and three regional marketing teams, and wrote most of the code myself.
Next up: a design leadership role in healthcare or health tech where I can lead and still make things.

Web Design Engineer Lead
OneStudyTeam/Care Access • 2026 - presentLed the design and development overhaul of global web properties across North America, South America, and Europe. Architected a Sanity CMS implementation from the ground up, wrote the majority of the front-end code in Astro and React, and established design and development standards across all properties. Coordinated designers, engineers, DevOps, and regional marketing teams throughout the rollout — serving as both the primary technical and co-creative decision-maker on the project.

Projects included small businesses looking to modernize their brand and web presences, designing, developing and delivering custom email campaigns for National Psoriasis Foundation, developing CraftCMS websites for the award-winning agency, Langrand, and maintenance and development support for Scale Computing’s global website.

Westcon - Comstor • 2011 – 2015Managed creative conception and design for industry-leading IT clients like Avaya, Cisco, etc. for events and marketing campaigns aimed at IT resellers. I oversaw brand consistency for creative assets for North America. Creative assets included marketing web sites, emails, event collateral, etc. Instituted use of responsive design across web sites and html emails. Managed delivery of email marketing campaigns.
Junior Art Director
Tech Data Corporation • 2007 – 2011Worked closely with a Fortune 500 brand initiative at Tech Data by helping to redesign the brand and familiarize our company with our efforts. Worked with industry-leading clients such as HP and Cisco by designing physical and digital campaign deliverables for IT channel marketing.

My Life
I live in Portland, Oregon with my amazing wife and kids. On most weekends and evenings, you can catch us watching college football, going on a hike or checking out a new brewery. Pre-COVID, we travelled often, mostly to Ohio and Florida and hope to return to that. Until then, Oregon’s beautiful coast, mountains or wineries will have to do.
My other interests include weight lifting, and listening to a good podcast or audiobook.
